If you're anything like me, you love a pretty apron; I mean, what's the use of wearing one if you don't feel good in it? Unfortunately, more days than not my aprons stay hung up in place because I hate thought of getting them dirty. I was watching some re-runs of early Julia Child episodes when something she was doing caught my eye. Looped through the ties of her apron was a tea towel.
Looping a towel through your apron ties allows you to dry your hands between tasks and wipe off work spaces without dirtying your apron. You don't have to search the kitchen for the nearest towel, which keeps your apron clean and ready to use next time. It's the perfect combination and when you're done, just throw that towel in the wash.
